Ukrainian techno powerhouse Xenia returns with a fierce new EP, Industrial Groove, set for release on May 9, 2025, via her own label Fire Mode.
Inspired by her travels through Ukraine, shamanic rituals, and the haunting atmosphere of horror cinema, this five-track release dives deep into the darker side of techno, blending raw intensity with hypnotic soundscapes.
From the relentless drive of So High (featuring Valentina Duk) to the mechanical pulse of Baby You Are On Fire, each track is crafted to ignite the dancefloor while evoking a sense of mystery and chaos. Nomophobia pushes this tension further, with distorted synths and aggressive percussion, while Muhomor explores a more psychedelic, unsettling space. The EP closes with Possessed in Saints, a cinematic, ritualistic composition that captures the essence of Xenia’s hard-edged yet introspective style.
With Industrial Groove, Xenia proves once again why she is one of the most innovative voices in the contemporary techno scene, seamlessly blending powerful rhythms, emotional depth, and atmospheric textures.
