There is a particular discipline involved in making a track feel simple without allowing it to become static. On “Ritmo”, Jairo Delli achieves that balance through repetition, spatial awareness and a detailed understanding of how groove operates on the dancefloor.
Released through LTF Records, the single avoids unnecessary ornamentation. Its bassline establishes the physical foundation while percussion and carefully selected samples generate subtle changes in tension. Elements arrive with purpose, interact briefly and withdraw, giving the arrangement a sense of movement that extends beyond its apparently minimal construction.
The track also reflects Delli’s evolution as a producer. After more than seventeen years working between house and tech house, he has refined an approach based on solid low frequencies, hypnotic loops and rhythmic details informed by his early connection to breakbeat. Here, that experience translates into clarity: nothing feels decorative and every sound contributes to the track’s momentum.
Having previously released through labels including elrow, CUFF, Roush, Sola, Clarisse and Too Many Rules, the Tenerife artist continues to shape an identity rooted in club functionality but defined by personal choices.
“Ritmo” is effective because it understands the value of restraint. It does not demand attention through spectacle; it earns it through precision and movement.
